Job Overview:
The T-Shirt Assistant will be responsible for pulling, sorting, and folding all league t-shirts in preparation for our seasonal league launches. This individual will assure an accurate inventory count is maintained of each league t-shirt color throughout the year and that all league shirts are ready for pick up prior to the start of a league season.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a reliable self-starter who has a flexible work schedule. The ideal candidate is an individual who is looking to complement their current income with an additional revenue stream, as this role is performed in waves. Meaning, because we begin new leagues every 6-8 weeks, the bulk of this individual’s role will occur within a 10-14 day window every 4-6 weeks with minimal hours needed in-between.Â
We are also looking for an individual who is comfortable working alone, as they will work by themselves in a storage locker 95% of the time. However, this individual will be in direct communication, digitally, with management while they work to assist in troubleshooting any problems.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Pull shirts from color-specific bins to assure appropriate sizes are accounted for and sorted by league season.
- Utilize our provided app to manage our inventory system to reduce or increase shirt quantities, as appropriate.
- Communicate with management to confirm shirts are pulled for a specific league or communicate any major or minor inventory issues.
- Open and securely close the storage unit during each shift.
- Assist with occasional inventory recounts and the counting and sorting of new inventory.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
Walking and standing are required daily. Exerting up to 60 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, swing or otherwise move objects. In addition, the role involves physical movement which includes a significant amount of bending at both the knees and waist.
This is a Part Time, Contract Job Opportunity.
Location and Hours:
This individual will be required to work at our storage facility located at the corner of Oklahoma Avenue and 77th Street in West Allis, WI. This position will allow for this individual to make their own schedule so long as they operate within the standard business hours of our storage facility.
Anticipated Hours:Â
League Preparation Weeks (Every 4-6 Weeks): 15-20 hours per week.
In-Season Weeks: 0-3 hours per week, as needed.
Compensation:
$12 per hour. No benefits. This is a Part Time 1099 Contract Position.
Technology:
This position requires the individual to have a smartphone, which they will utilize on the job. This individual will not be compensated for their smartphone nor data usage.
