League Description:

Volleyball fun returns this Winter! On Thursday Nights, we are splitting the courts between B and C league players!

NOTE: Full Teams can choose to register any number of players with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10. Last year, some teams wanted to play with a really small team so that they never rotated out, whereas others wanted to have a team of 10 so that they could party together each night. Intermediate Individual and Partial Teams will be built as teams of 8 with players rotating out of the sides.

This is an Intermediate (B) league. This league is designed for players who are seeking a slightly more competitive atmosphere against players with prior volleyball experience. NOTE: Though this is designed to be more competitive, Milwaukee Sports and Social remains a social league. All players are expected to abide by our Sportsmanship Policy, which will continue to be heavily enforced.

Grab your friends or come solo and be paired with fun Milwaukee locals, as we serve, set, and spike our way through the dreary winter months indoors!

Matches will be played 6v6, but team rosters may feature up to 10 players who will sub in throughout the match from each corner or on the side of the court.

Hurry! We only have space for 8 teams!

LEAGUE INFORMATION:

6 Matches Guaranteed (3 sets [games] in every match) 5 Regular Season Matches + Single Elimination Bracket Style Tournament!
Each week, you will play 3 sets (or up to 1 hour). The first two games are played first to 25 (win by 2, with a 27 point cap). The third game is played first to 15 (win by 2, with a 17 point cap)!
This league is designed for players seeking a higher level of competition played in a fun, social setting.

Game Dates: 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, THANKSGIVING BYE WEEK ON 11/27, 12/4, 12/11, 12/18
All games will be played on Thursday Nights between 6:00-10:00pm! Your team's finalized schedule with specific game times will be provided via email 1 week prior to the league beginning.

When you register, you will receive a survey asking you to share your height and various other pieces of information about yourself. We will use these details to pair you with the locals who we think you will be a great fit with on and off the court!

Each team will be outfitted with a special team-colored t-shirt! Each team will be provided with a bundle of shirts for players to pick from during week 1: 1 Small, 5 Medium, 5 Large, 2 XL, and 2 XXL shirts.

Volleyballs (and the net) will be provided every night by Milwaukee Sports and Social.
A ref will be present at every game to enforce rules and oversee the official scoring.
This is an adult league. No minors are permitted.

Because we are playing at a church, we will not be allowing any alcohol on the school's premises. This is a dry league.
In the event this league sells out, the bottom 2 teams (worst team in each conference) will not have a week 6 game. Instead, each player will be given a $10 Milwaukee Sports and Social voucher good towards a future individual or partial team registration in any upcoming league.
