Saturday Pre-Spring Freeze Your Pickleballs Off League (6 Weeks) [SOCIAL MIXER]

Join us for a social 6-week league at the greatest Pickleball courts in all of Milwaukee!

Our Saturday Morning League will be hosted as a Social Mixer league! Meaning every player will sign up Individually and be paired with a new teammate each week! This format was a huge hit last Fall and it helped A LOT of people make new friends in Milwaukee!

Standings will be based on the individual's win percentage throughout the season!

Plus, every player in this league will receive the coveted Milwaukee Sports and Social sweatshirt!

LEAGUE INFORMATION:

• 6 weeks of play (4 sets [games] in every match) 5 Regular Season Matches + Single Elimination Bracket Style Tournament for the top teams!
  
  
• Each week, you will play 4 sets against one team. The first 3 sets will be played first to 11. The fourth set will be played first to 7 with a 9-point cap.
  
  
• This league is designed for recreational Pickleball play. This league is designed for players who are either new to the sport or who want a more laid-back experience!
  

• Milwaukee Sports and Social will provide all Pickleball Paddles, balls, and nets. However, players are welcome to bring their own paddles.

• Absolutely NO BOOTS will be allowed on the court! Only Gym Shoes are permitted!

• HOW SNOW OUTS WILL WORK: We will play in cold, frigid temps. All games will be played so long as there is no heavy snow (we will play in light snow), rain, sleet, or hail. If the playing surface is not slick, games will be hosted.
  
  We have included 1 Rain Out/Snow Out Week in the schedule. In the event we have a second rainout caused by the aforementioned conditions, games will be canceled and players will be refunded on a game-by-game prorated basis. Due to our planned outdoor spring season, we cannot go beyond May 3rd in this league.

• Teams may consist of any mix of genders. 2 players per team. 
  

• NOTE: Given the nature of this sport, all players in this league are required to have a substitute player available and ready to step in for any games they expect to miss!

• Game Dates: 3/14, 3/21, 3/28, 4/11, 4/18, 4/25 - BYE Week on 4/4 for Easter Sunday

•  Emergency Rain/Snow Out Week: 5/2
  

• All games will be played on Saturday Mornings between 10am-2pm! Your team's finalized schedule with specific game times will be provided via email 1 week prior to the league beginning.
  

• When you register, you will receive a survey asking you to share various pieces of information about yourself. We will use these details to pair you with the locals who we think you will be a great fit with on and off the court! 

• Each team will be outfitted with a special team-colored sweatshirt! 

  This season, your league will be provided with 32 sweatshirts - 1 fitted per player. For example, if your league features 32 players who collectively request 2 smalls, 10 mediums, 10 larges, 5 XL's, and 5 2XL's, these are the exact quantities per sweatshirt size we will have on hand.
  
  However, the sweatshirts will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis. Meaning, if you want a specific color sweatshirt, we encourage you to arrive early to ensure your preferred color is available. This means that if you receive a Week 1 game time that is later than the opening 6 PM game, we encourage you to arrive early to get your preferred sweatshirt color. NOTE: Due to our supplier, size 2XL is only available in the white sweatshirt with the green logo. 

  • All players must complete their player survey in which they share their shirt size, at least, 5 days prior to the league starting in order to be assured a fitted sweatshirt. Milwaukee Sports and Social reserves the right to assign random shirt sizes if a player does not complete their survey in time.

   

• A staff member will be present each night to help track weekly scoring.
  

• This is a self-officiated league with no referees.

• This is an adult league. No minors are permitted.

If this league sells out, the two teams who finish at the bottom of the standings will not make the playoffs. Instead, they will receive a $10 Milwaukee Sports and Social Voucher good towards a future Individual or Partial Team sign-up!
