League Description:

Players have been asking us to host sand volleyball since the day Milwaukee Sports and Social was created. However, we never had a spot to play... until now!

As we branch out into this new frontier, we are experimenting with 2 different league formats: Officiated and Self-Officiated. Self-Officiated will be the more economical option of the two for those looking to bring a Full Team! Once we learn what Milwaukee Sports and Social players prefer, we will begin opening additional nights and skill level combinations this Spring, Summer, and Fall!

This Wednesday Night league is Self-Officiated. We will have an awesome Sports Coordinator present to make sure the games run smoothly, but it will be up to the players to call in or out and track their scores!

This is an Intermediate (B) league. This league is designed for players who are seeking a slightly more competitive atmosphere against players with prior volleyball experience. NOTE: Though this is designed to be more competitive, Milwaukee Sports and Social remains a social league. All players are expected to abide by our Sportsmanship Policy, which will continue to be heavily enforced.

Grab your friends or come solo and be paired with fun Milwaukee locals, as we step into the sand and begin the sand volleyball fun this spring!

Matches will be played 6v6, but team rosters may feature up to 8 players who will sub in throughout the match from each corner or on the side of the court.

LEAGUE INFORMATION:

6 Matches Guaranteed (3 sets [games] in every match) 5 Regular Season Matches + Single Elimination Bracket Style Tournament!
Each week, you will play 3 sets. The first two sets are played first to 25 (win by 2, with a 27 point cap). The third game is played first to 15 (win by 2, with a 17 point cap)! Team will switch sides each set.
This league is designed for players seeking a higher level of competition played in a fun, social setting.

Game Dates: 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 5/28, 6/4, 6/11. Rain Out Date: 6/18.
All games will be played on Wednesday Nights between 6:00-10:00pm! Your team's finalized schedule with specific game times will be provided via email 1 week prior to the league beginning.

When you register, you will receive a survey asking you to share your height and various other pieces of information about yourself. We will use these details to pair you with the locals who we think you will be a great fit with on and off the court!

Each team will be outfitted with a special team-colored t-shirt! Each team will be provided with a bundle of shirts for players to pick from during week 1: 2 Small, 3 Medium, 3 Large, 3 XL, and 1 XXL shirts.

Volleyballs (and the net) will be provided every night by Milwaukee Sports and Social.
This is a self-officiated league. Players will call all points and keep track of points by calling the score out. We will have a staff member present to observe and assure a fun night where all players are keeping it friendly and social!
This is an adult league. No minors are permitted.

In the event this league sells out, the bottom 2 teams (worst team in each conference) will not have a week 7 game. Instead, each player will be given a $10 Milwaukee Sports and Social voucher good towards a future individual or partial team registration in any upcoming league.
